Project Brief

Our client is a respected technology company that creates software to streamline and provide extra value for business. They have a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges businesses experience in conducting their business. Their objective is to build technology that enhances businesses and provides value to their customers. 

For this project, we assisted in building a flexible B2B platform that manages many critical business functions including the processing of claims; generating reports; processing claims; and managing administrative tasks. We ensured the system had the ability to process large batches of data concurrently, included a secure sign-on functionality that uses JWT authentication, and a smart search function that makes searching for information easy. The unique features all contribute to an absolute solid platform that is simple to use and meets our client’s goals.

Implementation Overview

Advanced Search Capabilities

One of the most important new features is user capabilities to search by multiple terms and to sort results. Improved search functionality dramatically enhances the efficiency of searching for a claim, so users will quickly and accurately find the missing information they need.

Quick Actions

The quick actions feature provides simplicity to user actions and speeds up claim processing. By simplifying key elements of a user’s workflow, quick actions enable users to have more time to complete the workflows, leading to a quicker resolution of claims.

Flexible Report Creation

We updated the reporting process which will provide users the ability to create reports of various types, including monthly and weekly summaries. Users will be able to easily manage email notifications so reports are available to the broader organization in a timely manner.

Bulk Data Upload

The bulk data upload feature for CSV and XLS files significantly reduces input time for dealer/failure codes. This feature minimizes typographical errors and improves the efficiency of operations because the user has the ability to process large batches of data in short timeframes.

Role-Based Navigation

With JWT authentication and role-based access, we are able to customize the experience based on the user's type and also improve navigation. Additionally, system features and information are provided based on roles, ensuring the user has tools and current information relative to their roles.

Real-Time Notifications

We implemented a real-time notification to users on warranty approvals and rejections. This allows users to gain and maintain knowledge of important updates, which allows users to engage quickly and respond to critical decisions.

Next.js Caching and Revalidation

Next.js has removed strain and slowed load times based on the caching and revalidation features. Furthermore, effectively creating user experience through speed and smoother experience on page load time.

Standardized ShadCN Components

The usage of ShadCN components reduces the need for custom code and provides a more consistent look and feel to the UI. This ultimately drives for better maintainability and a better and more intuitive user experience.

Simplified Workflows

I redesigned the claims workflow and warranty workflow to be simpler by reducing complexity. This ultimately improved users’ navigation and users’ satisfaction when attempting to perform a task.
